Marty Balin-Hearts(lyrics)
    Marty Balin-Hearts lyrics

    Is everything alright
    I just called to say
How lost I feel without you
    Miles away
    I really can't believe I'm near
And how I still care about you

    Hearts can break
    And never mend together
    Love can fade away
    Hearts can cry
    When love won't stay forever
    Hearts can be that way

    Is everything the same
Do you ever think of me
And how we loved one another
    Will you change your mind
Will you want me back again
Or have you found yourself a new love

    Hearts can break
    And never mend together
    Love can fade away
    Hearts can cry
    When love won't stay forever
    Hearts can be that way

    Is everything Ok
    I just thought I'd write a song
To tell the world how I miss you
    'Cos each and every day
I think of all the words I never said
And all the chances that I had to

    Hearts can break
    And never mend together
    Love can fade away
    Hearts can cry
    When love won't stay forever
    Hearts can be that way

    Hearts can be that way
    Hearts can be
    Is everything alright

    1. When this song came out, I was 5 years old. It used to always make me cry when I'd hear it because it was so sad to me. Oh the heart of a child. 😊

    2. I hadn't even heard of Marty Balin until I met my husband June 87'This was his favorite and soon became my fav.I was doing dishes and it popped in my head. I lost my wonderful husband in 2002 Thanksgiving day but I know hes listening ❤

    3. Oh, the old fashioned love… the best one in my opinion.. older times were harder in many ways, but emotions were more pure..I have the feeling that my generation (born 1990) is the last that kept something from this kind of old times feeling of love…

    4. There will never be another Marty Balin. Beautiful and unique voice. Miracles is one of the top ten best songs in history !

    6. 7. Now this is one for the books. I miss being young. The music was so beautiful. This sends a pain through my heart. We don’t stay young long enough.

    8. …I thought my heart died…but after 10 years it hurts again.. that song calls so much from very deep.. I don't know the story of the song, but I'm near to sure that lyrics was ready before the melody.. My father used to say if your heart is hurting-you alive…

    9. Ever loved and hated something equally?
This song embodies everything about that feeling. As I write this, like right Now, I'm in tears, cuz I been hurt and I'm a fuqing piece of shyt for causing hurt.

    10. I was driving alone in the night and this song made me think of how much you mean to me. This has been the best time of my life remembering how much you mean to me. God bless us into infinity lover!

    11. Balin had such a unique voice. Beautiful lyrics and fond memories of the good old days. This song rings so true in failed relationships …RIP Marty
