On Day 4 of the 2017 Presidents Cup, Daniel Berger provided the clinching half-point for the U.S. team Sunday at Liberty National, giving the Americans their 10th win in 12 meetings against the International Team.
The Presidents Cup, a team match play competition featuring 12 golfers from the United States and 12 from around the world, excluding Europe – is held every two years. In 2017, the event takes place at Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, NJ with Steve Stricker serving as the U.S. team captain and Nick Price returning to captain the Internationals for a third time. In 2015, the U.S. Team clinched the winning point on the final hole to retain the Cup, 15.5 to 14.5.

    1. Alright, here's my idea. Get rid of the Presidents Cup and allow the Internationals a chance at the Ryder Cup. Here's how it works, next year 2018 the USA and Europe play for the Ryder Cup and the loser of that match plays the Internationals in 2019 to determine who plays the current holder of the Ryder Cup in 2020.

    2. The International team are hardly a pile of duds. Scott, Day, Leishman, Oostheizen, Grace and Matsuyama are top shelf. Perhaps reduce the numbers and it would even out. The entire US team are all in top form at the minute it has to be said.

    3. next time put rory in there Alex Norren Hendrick Stenson Sergio Garcia John Rahm Lee Westwood even Matthew Fitzpatrick just to name a few

    4. Should do a mixed mens and womens event. 6 men and 6 women on each team. US vs International. The east Asian golfers on the LPGA tour are a lot stronger than the American women which will provide much closer competition to make up for how lopsided the mens side is. Plus it helps the LPGA tour gain more exposure. Just an idea…
