    Want a faster pace of Golf? Piltdown Golf Club hosted the 2017 British Open Speedgolf Championships in Sussex which saw competitors pick up the pace in golf. PGA Pro Chris Benians was the overall winner with a Speedgolf Score of 116:13
    Runner up was amateur golfer George Boxall who put in the fastest round, but his combined score just edged him into 2nd Place with a Speedgolf Score of 116:17
    The 2018 British Open Speedgolf Championship will return to Piltdown Golf Club on 9 September 2018 - it will be a 18 hole solo Speedgolf event - are you a contender?
    Ladies Category Winner was Elizabeth Taylor from Chingford,  with a Speedgolf Score of Speedgolf Score of 139:57
    
    Team Pairs Winners (10 Hole competition) was team ‘Piltdown Pioneers’ the duo consisted of Phil Bonsall and Piers Heagerty. 2nd place was Team ‘Ryder Cup Run’ made up of Dr Andrew Murray and Paul Dunstan who got round 10 holes in just over 24 minutes but conceded with a higher golf score tally.
