Breach of Trust In South Carolina

Breach of Trust In South Carolina
Breach of Trust in South Carolina From the Video: Breach of trust with fraudulent intent, under section 16-13-220, is when someone uses the property of another person in an unlawful way. Any unlawful use may give rise to these charges. An example I commonly use is someone using a credit card for more purchases than were authorized. It could be using someone's money, or something that you were not authorized to purchase. For example, let me give you an example, if you were given twenty bucks from a neighbor to go buy some bread, instead you go buy a bottle of liquor and drank it, may be guilty of breach of trust. The penalties for this are gonna be based on the value of the property. If the breach of trust is for more than a thousand bucks, the prison sentence can be as much as five years, maybe even ten years. If you're charged with a breach of trust, give us a call. Amy Lawrence in my office and both, and myself, we both work on these cases.
